Opalescent + UV Glowing Davenport Ring

$250.00

This magical opalescent sea glass from Davenport beach is a little jewel. Depending on the light, colors can shift through pinks to blues and always have a gorgeous glow. I think of this as a very zen piece. Plus, it has a hidden secret! Not only does it glow from within under any normal light, it glows like crazy under UV light! Such a fab piece!

This piece was tough to photograph and it is truly a stunning piece in person. Our eyes do not pick up the green that all 3 of my cameras tended to. It glows with a pinkish area on one side and more blue on the other. And then bright green under UV light!

This marvelous sea glass comes from a small beach in Northern California, the site of many amazing pieces that have made their way to the sea from the Lundberg Art Glass Studio. Having tumbled for 40 years in the rough waters of the Pacific, this piece is perfectly frosted and weathered by the waves. The brilliant colors are due to the incredible quality of glass that was used in the art studio in the 1970s.

Set by me in fine and sterling silver. This piece has a narrow, yet heavy gauge, sterling band, super comfortable to wear and perfect alone or stacked with other rings. It is a size 10 and can be enlarged to an 11 upon request. Please leave a comment in the checkout process if you would like this ring enlarged. Comes with a UV light to show off the glow to your friends!

Each piece of Sea and Sky Studio jewelry is made using genuine surf-tumbled sea glass and is created using solid gold and silver by me, by hand, in my studio. Each piece is a true labor of love. I have done my best to carefully photograph each piece show its true color, but please allow for some shift as sea glass reflects what is around it as well as color shifts due to monitor differences. Thank you for considering my work for your collection!
