The WAVE! 🌊 Absolute Stunner! Italian Sea Glass & Sterling Silver Cuff
The WAVE! 🌊 Absolute Stunner! Italian Sea Glass & Sterling Silver Cuff
What a showstopper! FABULOUS WAVE of Italian art glass-sea glass! This gorgeous piece of rare sea glass was found on the northwest coast of Italy along the shore of the Ligurian Sea. A remnant of 19050/60s Italian art glass, this incredible piece has genuine copper within the glass, giving it a rare sparkle. The shape said “wave” to me, so I created a setting that enhanced the curl without changing the sea glass in any way (all of my sea glass is set without changing its original shape). This piece is truly stunning in person and has just the perfect amount of twinkle in the solace of the wave!
I am such a massive fan of this incredible Italian Art Glass. So much so that I have visited the beach for the last 3 years while travelling in Italy. It’s a truly magical place. I am honored to work with pieces collected years ago by dear friends.
This cuff is set in an open style, making it super comfortable and easy to wear. It fits an “average” wrist, measuring 6” long before formed. Set in pure silver and sterling silver, this is a true heirloom piece to treasure.
I am so pleased to have the opportunity to work with pieces of incredible and scarce sea glass from the coast of Tuscany. My travels abroad have allowed me to beachcomb on this beach, and it’s been a true gift from the sea glass heavens! I look forward to showing you all some stunning pieces made with vintage Italian art glass sea glass that have been collected over the past few decades. The colors will blow you away! Bellissimo!
All Sea and Sky Studio jewelry is handcrafted by me using genuine surf-tumbled sea glass from around the world in my metalsmithing studio on Hawai’i Island. I take meticulous care to bring you the best in rare and elevated sea glass jewelry. This piece is hand-set in solid fine (pure) silver and solid sterling silver. Each piece is a true labor of love that I hope you enjoy for years to come.
Each piece is carefully photographed to show its true color, but please allow for some color shifts as sea glass reflects what is around it as well as shifts due to monitor differences. Thank you for considering my work for your collection!
